MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
“Creating certainty, comfort and peace of mind”
“Moving in the Right Direction” is a seminar designed to inform and educate seniors and their loved ones about the process of transitioning to a retirement home. Our goal is to create certainty, comfort and peace of mind in those making this transition. Participants will leave the seminar with practical and hands on information to make the transition easier and less stressful.
- Professionals in the real estate, legal and finance industries will present on the following topics:
- What is the process of selling my house?
- What do I need to know to make the process as easy and profitable as possible?
- What are the legal steps necessary when selling your existing home and moving to a retirement residence?
- What legal documents or legal advice is necessary when making this transition?
- What do I do with the proceeds from the sale of my home so I can move into a retirement community of my choice?
- How do I determine if I’ll have enough money to pay my monthly expenses to live in a retirement community?
- I want to leave a legacy for my family – how can I accomplish that?

Jennifer Sipkens is a Real Estate Associate with RE/MAX iRealty Innovations. Her love of real estate started with a one-bedroom condo in a great inner-city neighborhood, which turned into an income property when she purchased a townhouse in serious need of updating. Later she became a REALTOR® in large part due to her love of real estate, but also helping people with the largest transaction of their lives. The real estate market in Calgary is wonderfully dynamic, and while participating in the real estate market as a buyer or a seller can seem intimidating, it can also be a lot of fun. Jen will connect you with quality professionals who will help you through this process and, of course, will do all the due diligence at her end to make sure your interests are protected.
